Gohar Sanat Company began designing a 150-ton dump truck with electric propulsion at the beginning of 1401. The design phase was completed at the end of 1401 and at the beginning of 1402, contracts for the construction of various parts for a production run of 51 units over 3 years were signed with capable domestic knowledge-based companies, which are currently being implemented.

By renovating, then maintaining, repairing, and operating 8 150-ton American TEREX dump trucks, model MT3300-AC, for more than a year, and fully monitoring the status and changes of electrical signals and mechanical components and analyzing their data during this period, in parallel with the indigenous model design process, Gohar Sanat Company has significantly reduced the project duration and risks leading to possible rework.

Since this equipment consists of components whose technology has not been developed before and at this level in the country, and since if these technologies are developed, there are many other specialized applications for them in various equipment, this company has formed a consortium of several knowledge-based technology companies, each of which is in charge of implementing a part of this project, and each has plans to spill over the technology obtained in its field of expertise into other areas, so they have a double motivation to achieve their respective part of this project.
